Chocolate Covered Bananas

Chocolate Covered Bananas :-Bananas that have been coated in chocolate are a delicious delicacy. Bananas that have been frozen are coated in melted chocolate and then topped with a variety of toppings, including nuts, shredded coconut, and dried fruit, among other things. They are a fun and nutritious dessert option for the summers!

Instructions:

After preparing a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper and set it aside.

Put the chocolate chips in three separate bowls that are safe to use in the microwave. Put the bowl in the microwave and cook it on high for twenty seconds at a time, stirring it between each heating cycle, until all of the chocolate has melted.

Do not allow your chocolate to become overheated; if you do, it will burn, and then it will no longer be suitable for dipping.

Your bananas should be peeled and sliced after your chocolate is ready; I cut mine into medallions. Pick up one slice of banana at a time with a toothpick, and then dip it into the melted chocolate.

You can choose to cover the entire piece of banana with chocolate or just a portion of it.

As soon as the banana pieces have been dipped, lay them on the baking sheet that you have prepared and then set it in the refrigerator to allow them to cool and firm.

Consume immediately, or store in a container that seals tightly in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Tips and Tricks:

1 . Microwave vs Stove Top

while I want to melt my chocolate, I always put it in the microwave. However, you should be careful while doing this because your chocolate can easily get overcooked without your knowledge.

Your chocolate can also be melted on the stove at a temperature of medium-low heat, if you want to be more specific. This method takes a little bit more time, but it allows you to stir it more frequently, which prevents it from becoming frozen.

2 . Can I Use Other Types of Chocolate

Unquestionably! You may use candy melts or baking bars in place of the chocolate chips that I used, but you could also use chocolate chips. If you want the best outcomes, you should make sure that you are using chocolate of a good quality.

If I’m in the mood for something more luxurious, I typically go for Ghirardelli or Valhrona. There is no better time than Valentine’s Day to take things to the next level!

3 . Adding Toppings

Crushed graham crackers, chopped walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, pistachios, or peanuts, cinnamon sugar, or crushed Oreo cookies are some of the wonderful toppings that can be used.

In order to ensure that the chocolate perfectly coats the bananas, I like to dip them in these while the chocolate is still a little bit soft.
