Velvety Soy Chicken And Broccoli Recipe:-This is a recipe for a Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry that is both simple and quick to prepare. It contains the fewest number of ingredients that you can get away with, but it still manages to produce a dish that is on par with the greatest Chinese takeout. Not only do I require additional sauce for the rice to soak in, but I also need plenty of savory homemade stir fry sauce because broccoli florets are like sponge for sauce. Absolutely necessary!

Ingredients:

SAUCE :

  • 2 tablespoons of cornflour or cornstarch and three tablespoons of soy sauce, either all-purpose or light
  • Add one and a half tablespoons of Chinese cooking wine or Mirin.
  •  Three tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • Two tablespoons of sesame oil.
  • A dash of white pepper (sub black)

STIR FRY:

  • 2 tablespoons of oil, either peanut, vegetable, or canola oil
  • Please provide the following ingredients
  • half of an onion,
  • cut two garlic cloves
  • finely minced 500 grams or one pound of chicken thighs or breast, thinly sliced .
  • Broccoli florets, split or sliced into small bite-sized pieces
  • weighing around 400 grams or 14 ounces, with two medium-sized heads.
  • 1 and a quarter cups of water

Instructions:

  1. You should either steam or boil the broccoli until it achieves the proper amount of doneness, depending on your liking. The broccoli will not be cooked any further in the stir fry, so you should prepare it in any of these ways.
  2. Whenever I use a microwave, I usually steam for three minutes on high temperatures. The water should be drained completely.
  3. First, the cornflour and soy sauce should be combined, and then the remaining ingredients should be added to the mixture.
  4. With this method, there is the possibility of tenderizing chicken breasts, which is something that should be taken into mind. (The thigh should be avoided at all costs)
  5. In order to prepare food, heat the oil in a large skillet until it reaches a high temperature. Garlic and onion should be added, and the mixture should be whisked for 10 seconds, or until the garlic starts to start turning golden.
  6. The chicken should then be added and cooked for two minutes, or until it is just cooked through, whichever occurs first. The recommended cooking time is two minutes.
  7. It is recommended that broccoli, sauce, and water be added. After giving it a thorough stir, continue heating for one to two minutes until the sauce has thickened, turned glossy, and completely coated the components.
  8. This should take around a minute To be placed on top of the rice!

  • Because it takes approximately five minutes to put together on the stove, you need to make sure that you have everything chopped and ready to throw in in the vicinity of the stove.
  • Although it is possible to prepare this dish in a wok (which is quite enormous! ), I feel that it is more convenient to use a skillet for this particular stir fry because it produces a significant quantity.

  • The recipe for a stir-fried chicken and broccoli dish
  • In this recipe, there is a requirement for 1 1/4 cups of water, which is a significant amount. However, additional sauce is required in this situation since broccoli florets are like a sponge that soaks up sauce.
  • Stir-fried chicken and broccoli put atop rice, and this dish is ready to be consumed.
  • Nevertheless, if you are going through a phase of minimal carbohydrate consumption, you should try serving it over cauliflower rice instead of rice.
  • The dish is not quite as horrible as you may believe it to be; it has a flavor that is extremely neutral, and the flavorful stir fry sauce does wonders to cover up any trace of cauliflower flavor that may be present.

  • You could also create Egg Foo Young, often known as Chinese Omelette , and then top it with this Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry instead of creating the brown sauce for Egg Foo Young. This is yet another excellent low-carb option.
