Vanilla Chai Overnight Oats Recipe – Simplest Recipe Ever
Ingredients :
- 1 cup rolled oats, (rolled oats *not quick oats)
- 1 1/2 tbsp chia seeds, (learn chia seeds’ nutrition benefits)
- 1 1/2 tsp chai spice, or more to taste, see notes
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup, or other liquid sweetener
- optional toppings: nut butter, granola, sliced banana, apple, or pear
Instructions :
The oats, chia seeds, and chai spice should be mixed together in a large mixing basin using a whisk. (For information on how to make your own chai spice, see the notes.)
Blend in the plain Greek yoghurt, the milk of your choice, and maple syrup until everything is well combined. In order to blend, thoroughly mix.
Pour the oats mixture that has been sitting overnight into three mason jars or other airtight containers. The dish should be stored in the refrigerator for at least four hours or overnight.
Take the dish out of the refrigerator in the morning, add the toppings, and enjoy!

How to Make Homemade Chai Spice
Mix together one tablespoon of ground cinnamon, one teaspoon of ground cardamom, two teaspoons of ground ginger, one teaspoon of allspice, and half a teaspoon of ground cloves.
Keep it in a jar that seals well and use it in a variety of recipes, including overnight oats, lattes, baked goods, and more.
How to Store Overnight Oatmeal :
Ensure that your overnight oats are stored in the refrigerator in a container that is airtight, such as a mason jar. At the very least, they will need to be stored in the refrigerator for four hours, and preferably overnight.
My preference is to prepare mine before going to bed and then store them in the refrigerator for at least eight hours overnight. This yields the best possible results.
As long as they are stored in an airtight container that is sealed, overnight oats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days without going bad.
Can You Eat Chai Latte Overnight Oats Hot or Cold?Â
The wonderful thing about oatmeal that has been prepared overnight is that it may be consumed cold, right from the refrigerator. You also have the option of warming them up in the microwave of your choice! They are both quite tasty.
From a personal standpoint, I find it more convenient to consume mine cold because I lack the patience to warm them up. It’s all about simple and speedy for me!
