Regular Air Fryer Potatoes and Air Fryer Chicken are also excellent options for starting dishes. These potatoes go well with main courses for breakfast, lunch, or dinner because they are flavorful and adaptable. I’m positive you’ll adore these crunchy chips!

The Best Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries Recipe

Less oil is used when making sweet potato fries (or chips, for my non-American friends!) in the air fryer as opposed to deep frying or even baking. Consequently, you’ll consume fewer calories and fat overall. They still have a soft bite inside and a subtle crunch on the surface.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes peeled
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  •  teaspoon black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Set the air fryer’s temperature to 380°F. After peeling, cut each sweet potato into uniform sticks that are ¼ inch thick. Toss the sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper in a sizable mixing basin.

Depending on the size of your basket, cook in two or three batches without packing the pan too full until they are crispy. I suggest 12 minutes, pausing halfway through. Depending on your air fryer, this could change.
Quickly serve with your preferred dipping sauce.

NOTES

Remaining food should be preserved in an airtight container. Store them in the refrigerator for three to four days. Simply reheat in a toaster oven or air fryer set to 360°F for one to two minutes. Although the potatoes will be soft if heated in the microwave, you can still use it to reheat them.

Alternatives: Use the recipe exactly as written for optimal results. On the other hand, you can use a different oil and substitute the spices. To make this recipe, I used the NuWave Air Fryer. With the appliance’s instructions, it’s simple to use, easy to clean up after, and I’m thrilled with the outcome!
