Tex Mex Sloppy Joes Recipe :- Mexican-style A delicious take on a traditional dish is Sloppy Joes. Flavorful Tex Mex to the extreme. Perfect for a meal on a weeknight. One of my favourite family dinners is sloppy joes. They have so much to be adored. There’s just no better way to feed the whole family with just one pound of ground beef than this one.

 

Tex Mex Sloppy Joes Recipe

They can be prepared ahead of time and reheated in less than 30 minutes.
I’ve created numerous iterations of sloppy joes. A tasty sloppy joe combines tart, salty, and sweet flavours. That and more is this one. A lot of Tex-Mex flavour is present. Add a little heat using jalapenos and chipotle peppers, along with salsa, paprika, ground cumin, chilli powder, and oregano. You can omit the canned corn, but I like to add a little bit.

 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, minced
  • teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup canned corn, drained
  • salt and pepper

 

Instructions

In a big skillet that is nonstick, heat the oil. Continue to cook for two minutes after adding the bell pepper, onion, and jalapeño.

Please add ground beef. Continue to crumble the ground beef while it cooks until it has a browned appearance. To thicken the mixture, add the other ingredients and cook for three to five minutes.
Verify that the seasoning is correct, and then add salt and pepper to taste.
