Ingredients

  • 2 cups Corn Chex
  • 2 cups Rice Chex
  • 2 cups bite size pretzels
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup honey
  • 3-4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure to line a baking pan measuring 9 inches by 13 inches with parchment paper or use paper liners to line 24 muffin molds.

Butter and vanilla extract should be mixed together on a baking sheet with a rim. Add the nuts, pretzels, and Chex cereals to the mixture. The sugar and cinnamon should be sprinkled on top, and then the mixture should be thoroughly tossed to coat.

Create a layer of the mixture that is uniform. It should be toasted after 15 minutes of baking, with a toss halfway through.

The honey and peanut butter should be heated together in a big pot over low heat until they are completely melted, which should take about five minutes and should be stirred frequently.

Remove from the heat source. Stir in the Chex mix that has been toasted, and then toss to blend. Spread the mixture out in the pan that has been prepared.

You might also use a spoon to distribute the mixture evenly among 24 cupcake molds that have been lined with cupcake liners.

In the microwave, combine the chocolate and coconut oil and heat them until they are completely melted. Chocolate that has been melted should be poured over the bars and spread out in an even layer.

Set aside for one hour to chill. To taste, sprinkle some salt on top. The bars should be allowed to remain at room temperature for fifteen to twenty minutes before being cut into bars. Put in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve it.

Note

Line the pan with heavy-duty or nonstick foil to make cutting bars much simpler. This is the trick to cutting bars simply. Once the chocolate has hardened, scrape the bars out of the pan with aluminum foil, and then cut them. In addition to that, this makes cleanup a breeze.
