Simple Patriotic Trifle Recipe – Know the Secret Tips
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 2Â (3.4 ounce packages)Â instant cheesecake pudding mix
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2Â (10.75 ounce packages )Â prepared pound cake
- 2Â (16 ounce carton )Â strawberries, sliced
- strawberries for garnish
- blueberries for garnish
Instructions
Cream and white sugar should be mixed together in a medium basin and vigorously beaten until stiff peaks form.
Put aside for later. For trifle, you should use whipped cream that is more stiff so that it can maintain its shape over time.
Cheesecake pudding mixes should be beaten with milk in a separate bowl for two minutes, or until the mixture becomes thick. Sour cream and lemon juice should be mixed in.
Add one cup of the sweetened whipped cream and fold it in together. Cut pound cake into cubes that are one inch in size.
First, in a trifle bowl, begin by placing half of the pound cake on the bottom of the trifle dish. If you do not have a trifle bowl, you can use a large glass bowl instead with the same amount of cake.
Next, proceed to layer a quarter of the pudding mixture, and then proceed to layer a quarter of the strawberries.
Ensure that each layer of the trifle is distinct and separate, particularly on the sides of the bowl, in order to make the trifle appear more presentable.
Four times, or until the bowl is almost filled, repeat the layering process.
Top the trifle with the remaining whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries, then garnish with the remaining whipped cream. Please place in the refrigerator for a minimum of four hours.

Tips For Success
It is customary to begin with the pudding mixture, then proceed to add the cake, and finally, the berries. The amount of trifle that you have should be sufficient for four layers in a large bowl.
When you reach the berry layer, press sliced strawberries against the glass to create the design that is depicted in the photographs. Blueberries are a way to fill in the gaps.
In order to make the cake easier to serve, you should make sure you cube it so that it is cut into bite-sized pieces.
Trifle should be stored in the refrigerator until it is ready to be served. Those who so wish might prepare it the day before it is due.
