Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients Â
Biscuits
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk more if needed
- ⅓ cup cold butter
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Garlic Butter
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
Instructions
- Set the oven temperature to 400°F.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, baking powder, and garlic powder.
- When the butter is crumbly and the bits are the size of peas, add the butter and combine with a pastry cutter or fork.
- Add the milk and cheddar cheese and stir.
- Spoon dough onto a pan lined with parchment paper.
- For 12 to 15 minutes, bake or until gently browned.
- Melt butter, parsley, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning (if used) and stir while biscuits bake.
- Take out of oven and allow it cool for three minutes.
- Serve heated biscuits warm with the butter mixture brushed over them.
