Moist Banana Bread -Step by Step Guide

Ingredients  :

  • 3 very ripe bananas, (medium/large)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, (8 Tbsp) at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup raisins

Instructions :

Warm the oven up to 350°F. Grease and flour a bread loaf pan (9.25 long x 5.25 wide x 2.75 deep).

On a pan, lightly roast the walnuts while stirring them all the time so they don’t burn. Chop it up rough and let it cool to room temperature.

Melt 8 tablespoons of butter and mix it with 3/4 cup of sugar (or honey if you’re using it) in a mixing bowl.

Mash bananas with a fork until the consistency of chunky applesauce and add them to the batter along with 2 eggs, mixing until blended.

Mix 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a different bowl using a whisk. Then, add the flour mixture to the batter.

Put in half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix in the raisins and chopped walnuts. Pour into a loaf pan that has been prepped.

Put it in the oven at 350˺F for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. After baking, let the banana bread cool for 10 minutes before moving it to a wire rack to finish cooling
