Maple Roasted Sweet Potato and Brussel Sprouts Recipe
One of my all-time favourite side dishes is Brussels sprouts! These honey-sriracha brussel sprouts and the ones with a maple balsamic sauce are my favourites. You have to try these maple sweet potato brussel sprouts if you’re anything like me. They are melt-in-your-mouth excellent, crispy, and tender.
Ingredients
- 2 – 3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 pound brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
Set an enormous baking sheet covered with parchment paper or aluminium foil and preheat the oven to 425°F.
After peeling, cut the sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes that are bite-sized. Cut the brussel sprouts in half after trimming the ends. Put them both on the baking sheet with lines.
Mix the olive oil, salt, cinnamon, and maple syrup in a small basin.
Over the sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts, drizzle the glaze. Toss with a spatula or your hands. Ensure that everything is covered.
Roast for 30 to 40 minutes, depending on how done and crispy you want it to be.
Have fun!
