  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the whole pecans into a food processor and grind them until they are fairly finely ground but still have some chunky texture.
  • This should take about a minute. In a large bowl, combine the pecan nuts that have been freshly ground with the garlic powder, mustard powder, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.

  • Using a fork, break the egg into a large bowl and whisk it until it is even. A kitchen towel should be used to gently dry the pork chops.
  • Place the pork chops, one at a time, into the egg that has been whisked to ensure that they are completely coated.

  • After that, transfer the pork chops to the pecan mixture that has been seasoned and press them into it, making sure that both sides are thoroughly coated.
  • Warm up a large pan with a heavy bottom to a medium temperature, and then add the oil to the pan. Take the pork chops and place them in the pan.

  • Fry them for a minute or two on each side to ensure that the pecan nuts are completely sealed and to produce a beautiful golden crust.
  • After transferring the pork chops that have been coated with pecans from the pan to a dish of medium size, place them in the oven and bake them for fifteen minutes, or until they are just about cooked through.

  • After taking the pork chops out of the oven, let them rest for five minutes before serving them alongside dishes that are suitable for the ketogenic diet.
