Jalapeño Popper Sausage Balls Recipe :-Jalapeno Popper Sausage Balls have all the tastes of armadillo eggs and jalapeno poppers, but they are made with our favorite cream cheese sausage ball recipe. There are only seven things you need to make this: bacon, cream cheese, chopped jalapeño peppers, garlic powder, and shredded cheese.

You can make it ahead of time and freeze it for a quick snack later. They’re great for breakfast, brunch, lunch, party snacks, and after-school meals. Make a batch right away!

Jalapeño Popper Sausage Balls Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb hot sausage, uncooked
  • 1 cup cooked chopped bacon (about 1 pound raw)
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (4-oz) can diced jalapeno peppers, undrained
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1½ cups Bisques
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

Instructions :

Warm the oven up to 400oF.
Put everything in the bowl of an electric stand mixer that has a dough hook tool. Mix everything together well.
Form the sausage mixture into 1-inch balls and set them on a baking sheet with a rim made of parchment paper.
Put it in the oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until it turns brown.

Notes :

Sliced green chiles or jalapeños from a can can be used.
Chop up fresh jalapeño peppers and use them to make the sausage balls spicy.
Jimmy Dean meat is what I use. You can use any kind of ground pork sausage that you like.
Can use turkey sausage instead.
For a gluten-free recipe, use Gluten-Free Bisques.
You don’t need a stand mixer to make this. Just put the ingredients in a big bowl and mix them by hand or with a wooden spoon.
You can use any kind of shredded cheese you like. It tastes great with sharp cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, or a Mexican cheese mix.
Is it okay to freeze meat balls?Yes! Once you’ve mixed everything together, roll the pork filling into balls.
Freeze the balls after putting them on a baking sheet. Move the balls to a Ziploc freezer bag after they are frozen.
To bake, take the sausage balls out of the freezer and bake them as suggested, but add a few minutes to the time.
Can the sausage balls be made ahead of time? Yes! You can roll the sausage mixture into balls and put them in the fridge overnight.
Put leftovers in the fridge in a container that won’t let air in.

What to Serve with Jalapeno Popper Sausage Balls ?

We love these sausage balls very quickly. There’s nothing better than them warm or hot from the oven. I love making a lot of them for breakfast, holiday parties, and game days. You can dip these in BBQ sauce or jalapeno ranch dressing. Make a batch right away!
