Instant Pot Spaghetti Recipe -Step by Step Guide

Ingredients  :

  • 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef, OR ITALIAN SAUSAGE
  • 1/2 Teaspoon EACH Salt, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Italian Seasoning, OR MORE TO TASTE
  • 1 Pound Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1 (24 Ounce) Jar Spaghetti Sauce
  • 36 Ounces Water, 1 1/2 Jars
  • 1 (14.5 Ounce) Can Diced Tomatoes, OR TOMATO SAUCE

Instructions :

Add the ground beef and set the Instant Pot to sauté. Season with Italian herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. As you cook the meat and spices, break up the meat so that it gets all brown. Off the Instant Pot.

If you need to, drain any extra grease off of the meat.

Put the spaghetti on top of the meat in the Instant Pot and break it in half. Add the tomato dices, pasta sauce, and water. You may need to use a spoon to press down on the spaghetti to make sure it is completely submerged in the liquid.

Put the lid on the Instant Pot and set it to manual mode. This will cook for 8 minutes at high pressure. Use the quick release button to open the Instant Pot by hand when the time is up. Give the spaghetti a good stir. Serve right away.

Notes :

NOTE: It looks like this spaghetti is a little wet right after it’s been cooked. Before you serve, make sure you stir the noodles well to make sure they are covered in all the liquid.
NOTE: Some folks have had trouble with their noodles “clumping” over time. There’s a better way to add noodles to the Instant Pot than all at once. Cross the noodles over each other. It’s normal for the noodles to stick together sometimes. Just use a fork to separate any that have stuck together.
NOTE: What you put into this spaghetti is what makes it taste good. To make it taste better, add more spice and use a tasty spaghetti sauce.
