Healthy Grape Jelly Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients

  •  ½ cups ketchup or barbecue sauce
  • ¾ cup grape jelly or other fruit jam or preserves
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce optional
  • 36 oz. meatballs cooked
  • Parsley for garnish, optional

Instructions

Combine Ingredients: In a large pot on the stovetop or the bottom of a 6-quart Crockpot, whisk together the Worcestershire, ketchup, and jelly until smooth.
1 ½ cups grape jelly, 1 ½ cups ketchup, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Include Meatballs: Meatballs should be tossed until thoroughly coated. You can either add frozen meatballs straight to the pot or thaw them out before adding them for both the stovetop and slow cooker cooking techniques. You should allow an additional hour for the Crockpot and five to ten minutes for the stovetop when cooking frozen meatballs because they will take longer to cook through.

Cook in the Crockpot Meatballs: Cook for one to two hours on high or three to four hours on low. In the final half hour of cooking, turn the meatballs around in the sauce to prevent burning.
OR- Cooktop Guidelines: Place a lid on the saucepan and cook on medium-low heat for fifteen to twenty minutes, or until thoroughly heated. Throughout the cooking process, make sure to give the meatballs several good stirs to prevent burning.
