Everything Bagel Crusted Salmon Recipe: We recreated every taste of our favorite brunch dish—an everything bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and all the fixings, please!—for our dish. I made it into a quick and simple meal for a weeknight supper. The salad that goes with our everything bagel crusted salmon is light and reminds you of the ingredients on your favorite loaded lox sandwich.

Everything comes together beautifully with the cream cheese-based salad dressing, making it a tasty and light supper (or lunch!) that we will never tire of. What you should know is as follows:

Everything Bagel Crusted Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 (6oz) salmon filletsskin on
  • ¼ cup everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions :

Set aside all of the ingredients for the bagel seasoning and preheat the oven to 350°F.

Using paper towels, pat dry the salmon fillets and sprinkle with a small amount of salt and pepper. Next, form a crust by pressing the flesh side of the salmon fillets into the everything spice. Steer clear of getting seasoning on the skin.

Heat the olive oil in a saute pan that is oven-safe to medium-high heat on the stovetop. The coated salmon fillets should be cooked for three minutes after being placed skin-side down in the hot oil. After that, switch off the heat and place the pan inside the oven.

Bake the salmon for 5 to 8 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness. After carefully taking the pan out of the oven, place it in an oven mit or dish rag over the handle when you place it down, so no one grabs the oven-hot handle!

You may also turn the heat back to medium and flip the salmon so that the crusted side is facing down for even more crispiness. Cook for a further minute to make the seasoning crispy.

Accompany with tzatziki and Greek salad or fresh arugula. Have fun!

Notes :

If you choose not to bake it in the oven, cook the salmon in the pan with the skin side down for three to four minutes on medium-high heat.

Then, lower the heat to medium and cook for an additional three minutes. Cook the salmon for an additional three minutes after flipping it over so the everything bagel crust is facing down.

Another option is to air fry everything, including salmon and bagel. Set your air fryer to 380°F, place the skin-side down breaded salmon fillets in the basket, and cook for 8 to 12 minutes. It’s best to check that the salmon is cooked through around the 6-minute mark. You don’t have to flip it!

Storing: You may keep leftovers in the fridge for up to four days if you keep them in airtight containers.

Reheating: You may use a microwave, air fryer, toaster oven, or oven to reheat this salmon. Reheat in an air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes at 350°F, or for 5 to 8 minutes in your oven or toaster oven for optimal results.

I try not to microwave because the crust can become soggy, but if you have to quickly reheat, give it a quick 60 to 90 seconds to get it heated.
