Easy Roasted Turkey Breast With Garlic And Herbs Recipe – Simples Recipe Ever

To accommodate a large number of people over the holiday season, I prepare a full roasted turkey. I prefer to serve roasted cornish hen or roasted turkey breast when I am entertaining a smaller group of people rather than a larger one. Honestly, this turkey breast is the greatest I’ve ever had; it’s juicy, tasty, and soft; there is no dry meat in this turkey breast! Make sure you don’t forget to serve the homemade dinner rolls and cranberry sauce made in the Instant Pot on the side!

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 lb bone in turkey breast I use a half breast
  • 5 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sage leaves finely minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary leaves finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon thyme leaves finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • rosemary sprigs for garnish optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the oven by preheating it to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray cooking spray on a baking dish and set it aside. The butter, garlic, sage, rosemary, thyme, parsley, and salt and pepper should be placed in a bowl. Next, add the parsley. In order to mix, stir.

Relax the skin that is on the breast of the turkey. A portion of the butter should be spread underneath the skin of the turkey, and the remaining portion should be spread on top of the breast of the bird instead.

Put the turkey in the dish destined for the oven. For fifteen to twenty minutes, or until the skin has barely begun to brown, bake the food.

Bring the temperature of the oven down to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Baking time should be roughly one hour and fifteen minutes, with basting with pan juices at regular intervals.

A thermometer should be inserted into the thickest portion of the turkey’s meat in order to determine the temperature of the Turkey. In order for the turkey to be removed from the oven, the thermometer must register a temperature of at least 160 degrees.

Wrap the turkey in aluminum foil and allow it to rest for five to ten minutes, or until the thermometer reaches a temperature of at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Sprinkle some rosemary on top, and then serve.

NOTES

On top of the turkey skin and underneath the turkey skin, rub the butter mixture in a circular motion.
For the purpose of this dish, you may use either a fresh or frozen turkey. It is imperative that the turkey be allowed to defrost before it is roasted.

Before serving the meat, examine the temperature of the thickest section of the breast with a meat thermometer to ensure that it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
