Easy Chicken Pasta Bake With Alfredo Sauce :-I am a huge fan of straightforward dinner dishes such as this one, which can be assembled in a just half an hour. Especially after a long and difficult day at work, this is the ideal thing to do. Butter, flour, and Parmesan cheese are the only ingredients that are truly required, and it is highly possible that you already possess these components in your home. Due to the fact that I wanted to make this dish a little bit heartier so that we wouldn’t be hungry half an hour after eating it, I decided to include some chicken.

Easy Chicken Pasta Bake With Alfredo Sauce

Ingredient :

  • 16 ounce pasta (uncooked, I used elbow macaroni)
  • 3 tablespoon butter (unsalted)
  • 1 chicken breast (cut into small pieces)
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parsley ( for garnish

Instructions :

  1. Make the pasta as follows: Broiler should be turned on. Cook the pasta in accordance with the directions on the package.
To prepare the chicken: One tablespoon of the butter should be melted in a large skillet.
  2. You should add chunks of chicken and continue to cook them until the chicken is no longer pink and is beginning to become a light brown colour. Eliminate the chicken from the skillet.
  3. The sauce can be made by melting the leftover butter in the same skillet that you used earlier. When the heavy cream has been poured into the skillet, stir it. While whisking, add the flour and continue to whisk until the sauce becomes thick.
  4. In addition to adding the Parmesan cheese, season the dish with salt and pepper. Proceed with the whisking.
  5. The sauce ought should be rather thick at this point; you can use some of the water from the pasta to make it a little bit thinner. Put the chicken and pasta in the skillet and give it a good swirl.
  6. Complete the dish by: Place mozzarella cheese on top, then place the dish under the broiler for approximately five minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  7. During this time, make sure to check the top frequently to ensure that it does not burn.
  8. Garnish and serve: If desired, garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and an additional handful of parsley.

Notes:

  1. As you begin to incorporate the pasta into the sauce, it will appear to be quite thin. Just keep chucking, and you won’t be worried. The starches that are found in the pasta will combine with the sauce, resulting in the ideal consistency.
  2. When you use flour or cornflour to thicken the sauce, it is possible that it will have a consistency similar to glue after it has been allowed to cool down a little bit.
  3. If you want to give this sauce a little more flavour, you could try adding a few teaspoons of Italian spice, a touch of nutmeg, or some crushed red pepper flakes. Let your imagination go wild when it comes to seasoning.
  4. In order to achieve the desired level of richness in this recipe, you can modify the proportion of cream to milk that is called for.
  5. The recipe can be simply stored in the refrigerator for later use. Make sure that it has been properly cooled before storing it, since it will keep for three to five days if it is stored in an airtight container.
  6. Since this dish does not freeze well, I would suggest preparing it either the day of the event or a few days in advance and preserving it in the refrigerator rather than freezing it.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1 . can i use different type of pasta?

  • There are a wide variety of pastas that may be used in this dish, so if you have some in your cupboard that you would like to use up, you can use it. Simply put, the Alfredo sauce is so incredibly wonderful that it goes well with anything! I like to use a small-shaped pasta so that there are many ridges for the sauce to adhere to. To achieve this, I recommend using a smaller-sized pasta such as penne, fusilli, elbow, or bowtie.

2 . How to serve this pasta?

  • This meal, which is rich and creamy, goes very well with sides that are light and simple, such as salads and roasted vegetables. That being said, if you would rather simply curl up on the sofa with a big huge bowl of pasta, I won’t stop you from doing that because this pasta bake is absolutely gratifying on its own. You might also include some of the following on the side
