Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread Recipe : When your craving for chocolate strikes in the afternoon, this delicious chocolate zucchini bread is the ideal treat.

When you’re craving chocolate, this chocolate zucchini bread is the ideal afternoon snack. Because of the semi-sweet chocolate chips and unsweetened cocoa powder, it offers a rich chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. It also has a lot of zucchini, so it has some virtue.

DIRECTIONS FOR MAKING CHOCOLATE ZERO BREAD

  • Grate the zucchini first. I use a food processor because it’s a little faster, but a box grater can be used to do it by hand as well.
  • Next, in a big mixing basin, melt the butter.
  • Stir in the brown sugar.
  • and whisk until silky.
  • Mix in the vanilla and eggs, and put aside. (Note: the hot butter alone could cook the eggs, so it’s crucial to whisk the brown sugar into the melted butter before adding the eggs.
  • Mix it together with the moist ingredients.
After the loaf has finished cooling, turn it out onto a rack. While it tastes great straight out of the oven, it’s preferable to let it cool for at least an hour before slicing it to avoid some crumbling. Have fun!

 

  • Note: This recipe from King Arthur Flour served as my inspiration for this one. I used less salt, more brown sugar in place of the honey, and butter in place of the vegetable oil.

Rich Chocolate-Coated Zucchini Bread

  • When you need a chocolate fix, this delicious chocolate zucchini bread is the ideal afternoon snack.
  • There is one 8½ × 4½-inch loaf served.
  • 1 hour 20 minutes in total.

 

COMPOSITION

  • 1/2 cup (one stick) unsalted butter
  • Two tablespoons and a quarter cup of light brown sugar, packed
  • Two big eggs
  • One teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1â…” cups all-purpose flour, smoothed with a knife, then spooned into a measuring cup
  • Half a cup of Dutch-process cocoa powder (natural cocoa powder can be used in its place)
  • One-fourth teaspoon of salt
  • One-half teaspoon of baking powder
  • One-half teaspoon of baking soda
  • One-half teaspoon of instant coffee or espresso powder (optional)
  • Two cups of carefully packed shredded zucchini (you’ll need roughly two medium zucchini; don’t squeeze
  • out the juice)
  • One cup of chocolate chips, semi-sweet

DIRECTIONS

  • Grease an 8½ x 4½-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and preheat the oven to 350°F.
    Put the butter in a big mixing bowl that is safe to use in the microwave, and heat it for one minute, or until it is just melted. Add the brown sugar and stir until well combined.

 

  • Stir in the vanilla and eggs until well combined. (Be careful—the hot butter alone could cook the eggs—so add the eggs after the brown sugar has been combined).

 

  • In a medium basin, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and instant coffee (if using). Mix thoroughly after adding to the butter mixture. It’s going to be thick.
    Add the chocolate chips and the shredded zucchini and stir. (It’s okay; it will still be thick.)

 

  • Evenly distribute the batter using a spoon after transferring it to the loaf pan. A toothpick or cake tester placed into the center should come out clean after baking for 60 to 65 minutes, maybe with the exception of a small smear from the melting chocolate chips. Turn the loaf out onto a rack to cool entirely after letting it sit there for about ten minutes.
  • freezer-friendly Instructions: You can freeze the bread for up to three months. Once it has cooled fully, put it in a freezer bag, freezer wrap, or securely wrap it in aluminum foil. Before serving, let it thaw in the fridge for a whole night.
