INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour90g
  •  cup Vanilla Protein PowderWhey-casein, 60g (2 scoops)
  • ¼ cup Unflavored Protein PowderWhey-casein, 22g
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ¾ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Applesauce120g
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Almond Milk120ml
  • 2 Tbsp Non-fat Plain Greek Yogurt28g
  • 1 Tbsp Melted Butter14g
  • 1 Egg
  •  tsp Vanilla Extract

 

Glaze:

  • ¼cup Non-fat Plain Greek Yogurt56g
  • ¼ cup Vanilla Protein PowderWhey-casein, 22ml
  • 3 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk45ml
  • Optional: Couple drops of Red Food ColorSprinkles

INSTRUCTIONS :

Warm the oven up to 350°F and use cooking spray to coat a 10-hole donut pan (or a silicon pan).

Add flour, vanilla protein powder, unflavored protein powder, baking powder, and baking soda to a bowl. Mix them together.

Apple sauce, almond milk, Greek yoghurt, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract should all be mixed together in a big bowl.

Carefully fold the dry mix into the wet mix with a big spoon until everything is just mixed.

To keep the batter from getting too tough, DO NOT MIX IT TOO MUCH.

Fill up each donut pan cavity about ¾ of the way to the top with the mixture.

For a round bottom, use a sewing bag.

Bake the donut for 12 to 14 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in it comes out clean.

After 5 minutes, take it out of the pan and let it cool down.

Place on a cold rack to cool.

Glaze:

Mix yoghurt, protein powder, milk, and food coloring, if you want, in a bowl using a whisk.

Dip donuts in frosting, shake off extra, and place (dry side down) on a rack to cool.
