Delicious Strawberry Shortcake Tiramisu Recipe

Especially when they are utilised in desserts, strawberries are my absolute favourite fruit. It is something that I never grow bored of! The light and creamy flavours of strawberry shortcake served as inspiration for the creation of this strawberry tiramisu, which I made using my passion for all things strawberry.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries sliced
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice

For the Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

For the Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sifted powdered sugar
  •  teaspoons strawberry preserves melted
  • 2 drops red food coloring optional

For Ladyfingers

  • 1 package lady fingers
  • ¼ cup orange juice

Instructions

Strawberries chopped into slices, granulated sugar, and lemon juice should be combined in a big basin. Mix everything together, then put it aside until the natural juices start to form. Heavy cream and pure vanilla essence should be whipped together until firm peaks form while making the topping.

Put aside for later. Cream cheese, powdered sugar, and melted strawberry preserves should be mixed together in a large bowl for the filling. The mixture should then be beaten with an electric mixer on medium speed until it is completely combined and smooth.

If you want it to be pink in colour, you can add some food colouring to it. Add a half cup of the whipped cream and stir it in. Put aside for later. Ladyfingers should be placed in a small bowl, and then orange juice should be drizzled over them.

The first layer of ladyfingers should be placed in a glass baking dish measuring 9 inches by 9 inches. Next, half of the pink filling should be distributed over the ladyfingers. Following this, add a layer of half of the macerated strawberries, and then finish with a layer of half of the whipped cream layer.

Repeat the processes, beginning with the ladyfingers, and place the mixture in the refrigerator for at least six hours or overnight. Additionally, freeze the mixture for one hour to make the berries more firm.

Notes

Begin with cream cheese that has been softened. The result will be a flawlessly creamy consistency thanks to this. When served with fresh, juicy red strawberries, this meal is at its best.

The summertime is often the time of year when strawberries are at their peak of availability. Take the time to plan ahead a little bit. At the very least, the tiramisu should be stored in the refrigerator for six hours, but it is preferable to leave it there overnight.
