Delicious Chocolate Fudge Cookies Recipe: These homemade chocolate fudge cookies are great. Double chocolate cookies are thick and chewy. They are made with cocoa powder and have big chunks of chocolate inside.

 

Delicious Chocolate Fudge Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 115 grams (1 stick or 1/2 cup) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 90 grams (1/2 cup) brown sugar
  • 50 grams (1/4 cup) caster sugar or granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 140 grams (1 cup) plain flour or all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 40 grams (1/2 cup) cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt, optional
  • 1 tablespoon full fat or whole milk
  • 100 grams (2/3 cup) dark or milk chocolate, roughly chopped, plus extra for decorating

Instructions

Put baking paper on two baking sheets. Put the sugars and butter in a big bowl and use an electric mixer to mix them together.

While beating, add the egg and vanilla and mix them in for about a minute. Add the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt, if you’re using it, one cup at a time. Mix for a short time until a chocolatey dough forms.

 

Add the tablespoon of milk if it seems too dry, and then mix in the chocolate chunks. For at least 30 minutes, put the dough in the fridge to chill.

Warm the oven up to 160 C (320 F) for fan-forced or 180 C (350 F) for normal. Using your hands, shape the dough into balls that are about 1.5 tablespoons in size. Place the balls on the trays that have been prepared.

 

Put it in the oven and bake for about 10 to 11 minutes. Put some extra chocolate on top of each cookie while they’re still warm, then move them to a wire rack to cool all the way.
