Delicious Chocolate Covered Oreos Recipe -Easiest Recipe Ever

Ingredients :

  • 1½ cups chocolate chips or candy melts semi-sweet chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate (280g)
  • 24 Oreo sandwich cookies
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions :

Put wax paper or parchment paper on the bottom of a big baking sheet.

In a medium bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each time. Do this or follow the directions on the candy melts package.

Dip the Oreos into the chocolate with a fork and turn them around to cover them all. Move the fork around on the parchment paper to dry. Tap it to get rid of any extra chocolate.

If you want, you can add sprinkles on top before the coating sets. Or, let the covering dry and then add more melted chocolate on top. Either leave the cookies out at room temperature or put them in the fridge until they are dry and the covering is set.

Notes :

Choose a chocolate that tastes great. Use good chocolate in this recipe, but not fine chocolate. The chocolate is what gives it its taste. While candy melts are easy to use and melt easily, you should try a few before you use them to make sure you like the way they taste. Not all chocolate wafers are tasty.

To make the chocolate less thick, add coconut oil. There is a chocolate coating that is too thick. To thin it out, add 1 teaspoon of solid coconut oil or veggie shortening. Mix the chocolate with the oil until it’s all mixed in. If you need to, add more oil to make the mixture smooth.

Tap the cookie gently to get rid of extra chocolate.Make sure there isn’t too much chocolate on the cookie for it to look nice and not have a pool of chocolate around it on the parchment paper. Once the Oreo is fully dipped and covered in chocolate, tap the fork gently on the side of the bowl until the extra chocolate falls off.

If you need to, heat the chocolate again. Make sure the chocolate is fully melted and hasn’t cooled down too much for the smoothest end. Put the chocolate back in the microwave for 15 seconds and stir it well if it starts to get thick before you’re done dipping.

If you use a double pot, turn down the heat to the lowest setting after melting the chocolate to keep it smooth and warm.
Make the mix bigger. It’s so easy to change the size of this dish. You can make a few Oreos to put on top of a cake or a dozen for party treats. If you are making a lot of chocolate, you might want to use two boilers to keep it smooth and easy to dip for longer.

Try mixing flavors in new ways. For these chocolate-dipped cookies, you can use green Oreos, golden Oreos, or your favorite holiday-themed Oreo cookies. You could use white chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate. You could even use a colored candy melt, but you should try a little bit of the melts first because they don’t all taste the same.

Cover it in candy, sprinkles, and other things. You can decorate with sprinkles for any event or make the chocolate layer more interesting by adding Oreo cookie crumbs, chopped nuts, or candy bar pieces! You can also use chocolate transfer sheets to add a holiday touch, a design, or something special, like a monogram.

Changes to almond bark. you can use nut bark in this recipe if you have it on hand. It’s easy to melt and the right consistency for dips.
