Delicious Carrot bundt cake Recipe – Easiest Recipe Ever

Carrot cake flavours are something I adore. It has consistently been one of my favourite sweets. This carrot bundt cake is amazing and doesn’t let you down at all! Since I’m a frosting addict, I adore a thick covering of cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups shredded carrots
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped

Instructions

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly coat a bundt cake pan with baking spray. After grating and measuring your carrots, set them aside.

Mix your flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a big basin. Put aside.

Beat the eggs, vegetable oil, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla in a large basin apart. Add the carrots and stir.

About ½ cup of the dry ingredients should be added to the wet ingredients at a time until everything is combined. Add the chopped walnuts to your batter and stir to combine.

Fill the bundt pan with batter, then bake for 45 to 50 minutes. If you insert a toothpick, it should come out clean. After letting the cake cool for at least twenty minutes, carefully take it out of the bundt pan.

Beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer in a medium-sized bowl until it’s smooth. Mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and whipping cream. Blend until a smooth consistency is achieved.

After the cake cools down to room temperature, apply your cream cheese frosting on top. Additional chopped walnuts and a dash of nutmeg or cinnamon are optional garnishes.

Tips

I always enjoy hearing the advice that people have accumulated during their years of baking. Here are some cooking techniques that will improve this recipe for carrot bundt cake!

I’m sure many of you like carrot cake with raisins! I seldom ever add raisins to anything because my kids detest them so much. When adding the carrots, I suggest adding around 1/2 cup of golden raisins, if you like to add some.

I suggest creating a cream cheese glaze if all you want is a basic glaze for the top. You can whisk together two tablespoons of butter and around half a stick of cream cheese until the mixture is smooth.

After that, start adding milk and sugar until you reach the desired consistency. It should be thick enough to adhere to the cake’s top, but not as thick as frosting.

The worst thing that could happen to this cake is for it to adhere to the pan’s inside. Make sure to use a liberal amount of pan spray on it. Get inside every crevice and corner.
