Delicious Avocado Chicken Croissant Recipe – Step by Step Guide: The Avocado Chicken Croissants are a wonderful and buttery and flaky croissant that are topped with a delightful avocado chicken salad that includes lime, red onions, and cilantro dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (I used the breast from a roasted chicken, cooked and shredded)
  • 1 avocado (mashed)
  • ¼ cup cilantro (chopped)
  • ½ small red onion (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 croissants (cut in half, or 8 slices of bread)

Instruction

To make the chicken salad, combine the chicken, avocado, cilantro, red onion, and lime juice in a large bowl. Use pepper and salt to season the food.

Each croissant should be cut in half, and the mixture should be distributed evenly on all four croissants.

Tips for Recipe

To season the chicken, you can add any spices that you choose, such as paprika, garlic powder, or Italian seasoning. They are all acceptable options.

The chicken can be marinated for a few hours in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and spices before it is cooked. This will provide an additional layer of flavor to the chicken.

It is entirely up to you whether you want to add other toppings to the sandwich, such as pickles, cheese, or bacon.
