Crispiest Air Fryer Chicken Cutlets Recipe – Learn like a more

I wasn’t sure if I would like my air fryer when I initially opened the packaging. I wasn’t sure it would fit in my kitchen because I don’t usually consume a lot of fried items.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt, divided
  • 1 tsp. pepper, divided
  • 1 egg, whisked

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take the chicken breasts out of their packaging and give them a uniform thickness by pounding them. Place any metal racks that come with your air fryer in the tray. Crispy chicken is encouraged when the chicken is cooked on a rack.
  2. Mix the flour, half a teaspoon each of salt and pepper together. Transfer it onto a plate.
  3. Transfer egg into a bowl.
  4. Combine the Panko breadcrumbs with the remaining salt and pepper and whisk them together. Transfer that to a different plate.
  5. Until every piece is coated, dip the chicken breasts into the flour mixture, the egg mixture, and finally the Panko mixture.
  6. After sliding the tray inside, set the air fryer’s temperature dial to 350°F. 22 minutes is the timer’s duration.
  7. When serving, the chicken should be 165°F inside, which will result in a beautiful brown and succulent texture.

USING THE AIR FRYER

I used it right away and realized why there was so much excitement. Foods may be cooked rapidly, uniformly, and crisply on the outside with an air fryer. It resembles baking something thoroughly without letting it become soggy rather than frying it.

The fact that the air fryer doesn’t heat up your kitchen like an oven does is another feature I adore about it. Thus, this is the way to go if you want to prepare some extra scrumptious chicken breasts but don’t feel like grilling them.

HOW TO MAKE CRISPY AIR FRYER CHICKEN BREASTS

So I reasoned that breaded chicken breasts would be a great use for the air fryer. Although I enjoy making chicken cutlets, I wanted to find a simpler way to accomplish it. and devoid of all the oil. As per the recipe below, I now use the air fryer to make both the entire (uncut) breaded chicken breasts and I’ve started using it for my chicken cutlets. They’re incredibly tasty and crispy!

In order to ensure that the breading stays, these air fryer breaded chicken breasts begin with a traditional flour dredging and end with a chicken dip into a whisked egg. I like to use Panko breadcrumbs for the breading. They, in my opinion, offer the most texture.

Please take note that you can use this homemade shake and bake recipe and method in place of the flour and egg step if you would rather not to. It saves time and produces a thinner coating that is just as crispy.

Make use of the wire rack if your air fryer has one. It keeps the underside of the chicken crispy. Although it’s not necessary, it significantly elevates the situation. You may have juicy and crispy chicken for dinner in only about thirty minutes.

NOTES

Put the chicken on the bottom of the tray if your air fryer does not have a metal rack. But if you use one, it will be crispier.
