Cherry Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 batch homemade cherry pie filling or 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
- ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ⅔ cup quick-cooking oats
- ⅔ cup light brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Turn the oven on to 350°F. Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
- Fill the prepared dish with the cherry pie filling.
- Mix the flour, brown sugar, oats, baking soda, and baking powder together. Pour in the butter and stir until well combined.
- Crumble the mixture on top of the filling for cherry pie.
- Preheat the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Serve it hot with vanilla gelato.
