Caprese Pasta Salad Recipe Step by Step Guide
INGREDIENTS :
- Recommended amount of spaghetti farfalle: 1 pound
- 1 pint of grape tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes) cut in half
- Cubed fresh mozzarella weighing 8 ounces
- ¼ cup of fresh basil, either torn or chopped.
- One-fourth of a cup of balsamic vinegar *Note from the chef: A high-quality balsamic vinegar is recommended for this recipe.
- Add salt to taste and add ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil.

INSTRUCTIONS :
Prepare the pasta in accordance with the instructions provided on the box (for an enhanced flavour, add a substantial amount of salt to the water to season the pasta).
Place the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil in a large bowl and mix them together.
To make the dressing somewhat thicker, pour balsamic vinegar into a small bowl and then drip extra virgin olive oil into the bowl while aggressively whisking.
This should result in the dressing becoming slightly more viscous. Include a pinch of black pepper that has been coarsely ground.
After the tomato, mozzarella, and basil combination has been combined, pour half of the balsamic vinegar mixture over it. Make a stir using a spoon.
The tomato, mozzarella, and basil mixture should be poured over the pasta that has been prepared. The leftover balsamic vinaigrette mixture should be poured over the mixture of spaghetti. Use a big spoon to stir the mixture.
A warm salad should be served as soon as possible. To make a salad that is cooled, set it in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least fifteen minutes before serving. Have fun!
REASON 1: IT IS SO DELICIOUS!
The main reason I love this salad is that it tastes SO GOOD. There is just the right amount of salty, sweet, and sour in this pasta salad. With the tang of the balsamic dressing, the sweet tomatoes and salty mozzarella cheese go very well together.
This salad tastes good hot or cold. It tastes just as good the next day as it does the day I make it. Early in the morning, I sometimes eat a bowl of caprese pasta salad that I saved from the night before.
REASON 2: IT IS QUICK AND EASY TO PREPARE.
On top of being served at my dinner table several times a month, this recipe is one of my go-tos for potlucks, picnics, and dinner parties. Making it takes about 15 minutes. It’s always my pleasure to offer to bring food to events for family and friends.
This pasta salad is always a hit with everyone. It takes time and very simple skills for making food. This is a great meal to have on hand if you are just starting to cook at home.

It’s so easy to change up this pasta salad! There’s already no meat in this salad. It’s vegetarian, but even the pickiest eaters will be happy with it.
If someone at the table is vegan, you can use 8 oz. of tofu instead of the cheese. There you have it! The salad is no longer meat. *Note from the chef: If you’re making this dinner for a vegan, watch out for the pasta! A lot of store-bought noodles are vegan. Some, though, have egg in them, so check the package to see what’s inside.
You can make this pasta salad heartier (but no longer vegetarian) by topping it with roasted or grilled chicken or prawns.
If you are trying to live a low-carb life, switch out the pasta for greens. On top of spinach or rocket, the tomato, cheese and basil mix tastes great. Cutting up an avocado and putting it on top is a healthy way to add fat if you are on the keto diet.
