Biscuits and Gravy Casserole Recipe: At a church gathering, I got this recipe for a biscuits and gravy casserole. The tastes go together really well. It’s been breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me. So far, every time I’ve made it, there hasn’t been any left over.

Directions

Turn the oven on to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it. Cover the bottom of the baking dish with biscuits.

Use medium-high heat to warm up a big pot. In a hot pan, cook and stir the sausage for 5 to 7 minutes, or until it is browned and crumbly.

Drain the grease and throw it away. Place sausage on top of the bread layer, and then sprinkle 1 cup of Cheddar cheese on top.

Make a bowl with eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk them together, and then pour them over the cheese layer. In a pot, mix the water and gravy mix together and heat them up until they boil.

Lower the heat and let the gravy boil for one to two minutes, until it gets thicker. If you want it thinner, add more water. Add sauce on top of the eggs. Cover the dish with the last 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese.

It will take about 30 minutes of baking in a hot oven until the eggs are soft and the cheese is bubbling.
