Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
- ½ cup buffalo wings sauce (I used Frank’s)
- 4 tablespoon butter (unsalted)
Instructions
Turn the oven on to 400°F. Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet.
Place the cleaned, salt- and pepper-seasoned chicken wings on a baking sheet. Bake the chicken wings for 45 minutes or until they are cooked through.
Add the butter and buffalo wing sauce to a sauce pan and heat until the butter melts.
Pour buffalo sauce over the chicken wings that you’ve placed in a bowl. Until every wing is completely covered, toss.
Accompany with a blue cheese dressing.
Notes
Verify the wings are completely dry by patting them dry with paper towels. To get the crispiest skin, this step is essential.
Keep an eye on the baking: Watch the wings closely during baking, especially in the last few minutes, to avoid overbrowning or scorching.
Serve fresh: After tossing the wings in the sauce, serve them right away for the greatest flavour and texture.

For Crispy Wings, DO THIS:
Make sure they’re well dried! Make care to thoroughly dry your wings once you’ve taken them out of the package. Blot any remaining moisture with paper towels while applying pressure to the wings. Your wings will be crispier the less moisture there is in the skin!
Put baking powder to use. Baking powder helps produce the perfect crispy coating and will ensure that your wings brown perfectly.
