Air Fryer Thai Chicken Wing Recipe Learn like a Chef
I enjoy cooking a variety of foods in my air fryer, but deep-frying chicken wings in it is a no-brainer. They are so much better and healthier for you, and they just turn out flawlessly every time.
These Thai-inspired chicken wings are coated in a little spicy yet delicious sauce made of red curry paste and lemongrass paste. If that wasn’t enough, I also made an incredible peanut butter and coconut chili garlic sauce that is ideal for dipping these delicious wings in. Best wings from an air fryer, in my opinion.

Instructions
Combine the marinade ingredients with the chicken wings. Mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, lemongrass paste, and red curry paste in a big basin. Toss to evenly coat the chicken wings after adding them. Coat the wings by drizzling them with cornstarch and tossing.
Sauté the chicken wings. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer within the air fryer basket. The chicken wings should be air-fried for 20 minutes at 400°F. After 10 minutes, turn them over and continue air-frying for an additional 10 minutes.
Prepare the sauce for dipping. While you wait, put all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer it over medium-low heat, stirring to thoroughly mix. Check for seasoning and add more salt if necessary.
After garnishing, serve. Serve chicken wings with coconut chili garlic sauce and garnish with green onions and red chilies.

Expert Tips
If your wings aren’t already pre-cut into wingettes and drumettes, cut them through the joint vertically after removing the tip. Get rid of the wing tip.
Always use paper towels to pat dry your chicken wings. This produces crispier wings and, in this instance, improves the sauce’s adhesion to the wings.
You won’t get crispy chicken wings if you don’t arrange them in a single layer within the air fryer basket.
Cooking spray is optional, however in my experience it doesn’t really matter if you use it on the air fryer basket.
