Ingredients for Chicken Egg Rolls:

  • Vegetable oil:  For cooking
  • Fresh garlic that has been minced
  • Ginger, chopped up fresh
  • Celery:  Coleslaw cut up Mix: This is near the veggies that come in a package.
  • Ground Chicken:  Ground chicken is next to ground beef.
  • Oyster sauce:  Gives it a really realistic taste.
  • To make an umami flavour, add soy sauce.
  • Toasted Sesame Oil:  Makes it taste richer
  • Sriracha gives it a spicy kick.
  • Sliced thinly, green onions are egg roll wrappers. You can find these in the produce area next to the tofu.
  • Spray the egg rolls with olive oil to help them get crispy.

Instructions:

  • In a skillet, heat the oil and stir-fry the garlic, ginger, and celery until they release their aroma. When the cabbage has become wilted, add the coleslaw mix and continue to simmer.
  • This dish should be seasoned with sriracha, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ground chicken. The chicken should be stir-fried for three to four minutes while being broken up.
  • Once the chicken has reached the desired doneness and there is no more liquid in the pan, toss in the green onions and take the skillet from the burner then.
  • Putting the egg roll wrapper in such a way that one corner is facing you is the first step in wrapping the egg rolls. A tablespoon of filling should be placed in the bottom half (which is facing you), and then the corner should be wrapped over the filled.
  • Repeat the process of rolling away from you (like a burrito) until you reach the end of the wrapper, turning it over so that both sides are facing outward. Use some water or an egg that has been beaten to seal the edges. Continue until all of the wrappers have been created.
  •  Olive oil spray should be sprayed throughout the basket of the air fryer. The egg rolls should be placed in the basket, and then the olive oil spray should be used to softly spray the tops of the egg rolls.
  • You should cook for six minutes at 400 degrees. After that, turn the egg rolls over and continue cooking for an additional six minutes.
