Air Fryer Broccoli and Cauliflower RecipeÂ
Ingredients
- 1 small head of cauliflower, cut into small-to-medium florets
- 1 medium head of broccoli, cut into medium florets
- 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon, for serving
- Optional Garnishes: freshly grated parmesan cheese or 1 tsp red chili flakes
Instructions
Set the air fryer to 370°F and put nonstick olive oil spray on the basket to lightly coat it.
In a mixing dish, toss broccoli and cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Because cauliflower takes longer to cook than broccoli, make sure the cauliflower florets are smaller.
To ensure even cooking, add the seasoned florets to the air fryer and cook for 11 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket every 3 to 4 minutes. Since each air fryer is unique, check to see if the vegetables are done at the 11-minute mark.
Squeeze fresh lemon over the broccoli and cauliflower before serving for an extra pop of colour. Depending on your fancy, garnish with red chilli flakes or freshly grated parmesan cheese.

No Frozen Veggies: Broccoli and cauliflower florets from frozen sources will become soggy. For optimal texture and results, use fresh cauliflower and broccoli.
Cooking in Batches: If the air fryer basket is tiny, cook in batches. Broccoli and cauliflower should not be piled high during cooking; instead, allow adequate room.
Extras can be kept in the refrigerator for up to four days in an airtight container.
