Stuffing Wreath (Thanksgiving Monkey Bread) Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup sliced celery
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 ½ tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 30 ounces (4 cans) refrigerated biscuits, separated and cut into quarters
- 1 egg, lightly beaten

Directions
- Put the sausage in a big pan. Break up the meat as it cooks over medium heat until it’s no longer pink. With a slotted spoon, move the sausage to a plate lined with paper towels.
- Use a paper towel to clean the pan, then add the butter, onion, and celery.
- It will take about 10 minutes of cooking on medium heat until the vegetables are soft.
- Sage, chicken seasoning, salt, and pepper should all be added to the pan along with chicken broth.
- Bring to a slow boil, then cook for two more minutes. Take it off the heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes, until it’s warm but not hot.
- Set the oven temperature to 325 F while you wait.
- Use cooking spray to grease a 10-inch bundt pan.
- Put the biscuits that have been cut into a big bowl.
- Put in the cooked sausage, vegetables, and beaten egg. Mix everything together slowly.
- Put the biscuit mix into the bundt pan that has been prepared.
- Put it in the oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and a thermometer inside says 160 F.
- Let it cool until the pan is no longer hot, then flip it over onto a plate. If you want, add more fresh herbs on top and serve hot.
