- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced

- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chilies
- 4 cups chicken broth

- 1 teaspoon chili powder

- Juice of 1 lime

Instructions:
- In a Dutch oven or a big pot, bring the olive oil to a warming temperature over medium heat.
- Cook the onion until it has become more tender, which should take about five minutes.
