Instructions

  • Put a loaf pan measuring 9 inches by 5 inches in size and line it with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. It is possible to use cooking spray to lightly oil the loaf pan in the event that you do not have any parchment paper on hand.
  • The apple should be peeled, cored, and then chopped into medium-sized pieces. If you would rather have shredded apples than apple chunks, you can use a box grater to grind the apples into smaller pieces.

  • Combine the oats in a high-powered blender and process them for thirty seconds, or until a flour is formed, whichever comes first. The baking powder, sea salt, and ground cinnamon should be added to the blender, and the mixture should be blended for a few seconds until all of the dry ingredients are incorporated. It is also possible to stir the remaining dry ingredients into the flour. Hold back until you are ready to use it.
  • Applesauce, eggs, avocado oil, pure maple syrup, and vanilla extract should be transferred to a large mixing bowl and well mixed until all of the liquid ingredients are included into the mixture.

  • After pouring the dry ingredients into the bowl containing the wet ingredients, thoroughly whisk the mixture until it may be described as a thick batter. Combine the chopped apples with the batter and stir them in until they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • The batter for the apple bread should be poured into the pan that has been prepared and spread out in a uniform layer. In order to achieve a more visually appealing appearance, you are free to sprinkle additional oats on top of the batter.

  • Place the loaf pan on the center rack of the oven that has been preheated and bake for forty minutes. Cover the loaf pan with aluminum foil. After removing the foil, continue baking the bread for an additional twenty to thirty minutes, or until it passes a clean test and the top has a faint golden brown color.
  • When they reach an internal temperature of 190 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, quick breads are considered to have reached their maximum baking potential. You can achieve the best possible outcomes by inserting a digital thermometer into the middle of the bread and checking the temperature on the inside to determine whether or not it is done.

  • After the bread has reached room temperature, it should be allowed to cool down before being sliced into individual pieces and served.

Notes

  • You can also use 2 cups of almond flour or 1 ⅔ cup gluten-free all-purpose flour.
  • You can replace the applesauce with 2 large ripe mashed bananas if you’d like for a sweeter bread
  • The recipe as written does not turn out very sweet. This is out of personal preference and to serve those who love a baked good without a whole lot of sugar. If you prefer your
  • baked goods sweeter, I recommend adding 1 to 5 tablespoons of brown sugar, according to your personal preference.
  • I love eating the bread warm with some butter on top and a drizzle of honey, and this delicious apple oatmeal bread recipe is even more flavorful the next day.
  • Store leftover bread in an airtight container or zip lock bag in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. You can also freeze the bread in a freezer bag for up to 3 months. You can store
  • the loaf pan covered in plastic wrap on the counter for up to 2 days if you live in an area that isn’t very humid.
