Soy Garlic Chicken Wings – Takes Two Eggs

Ingredients

  • ½ cup avocado oil
  • ½ cup liquid aminos or soy sauce

  • 3 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp dried paprika

  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  • In a small blender (such a Magic Bullet or Nutri Bullet), add all of the marinade ingredients and process until everything is well combined and the garlic is fully pureed. When you’re ready to use the marinade, use it right away or keep it in an airtight jar or container. You may store this adaptable marinade for a few weeks.

  • Pour the marinade over the desired cut of meat that you have transferred to a big zip lock bag or sealable container. Once the bag is closed, coat the meat with the marinade by swishing everything around.

  • For optimal results, marinate any raw meat, such as chicken, beef, or pork, for at least one to two hours (or up to 24 hours), and fish for at least fifteen minutes.

  • When you’re ready to cook, heat up the air fryer, oven, or outside grill and prepare the meat according to your preferred method. Below are the baking methods for different chicken pieces.

Notes

Baking Instructions for Chicken:
  • Preheat the oven and then transfer the marinated raw chicken to a large casserole dish or baking sheet.

  • Bake boneless chicken tenders for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Bake thick, skinless, boneless chicken breasts for 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until they are 165 degrees inside.

  • Bake bone-in chicken thighs for 40 minutes at 400 degrees, or until the internal temperature of the thighs reaches 180 degrees.

  • Although this temperature is greater than the recommended minimum cooking temperature of 165 degrees F, I have found that cooked thighs have the best flavor and texture.

  • Bake boneless chicken thighs for 20 minutes at 425 degrees, or until the chicken reaches a temperature of 175 to 180 degrees within.

  • To make sure the meat you marinade is cooked to your ideal doneness, check the internal temperature of the meat using an instant-read thermometer.
