Update On Whether WWE NXT Will Remain On Tuesdays Following Move To The CW :- The CW will host “WWE NXT” starting in October of this year, marking the company’s first broadcast TV offering as opposed to cable or streaming. This move was revealed last year. The network said at today’s Upfront presentations that “NXT” will continue to air on Tuesday evenings after moving to The CW in the fall (via Variety). Furthermore, the program will continue to air at 8 p.m.

The CW’s formal premiere of “NXT” is scheduled for October. “WWE SmackDown” will transfer from Fox to the USA Network a few weeks prior to that, on September 13. “WWE Raw” will stay on the USA Network until the end of the year before moving to Netflix in 2025. WWE just inked a contract to extend the run of “Raw” in the United States before to its online debut. Originally, the show was scheduled to end in October.

Additionally, everyone of them is still married, alive, and at least one of them continues to play a majorly promoted role in a television series.
Michelle McCool and Undertaker might be the only people who can be exempt from this final requirement. She appears to be essentially retired at this point, and he claims he is done with wrestling, but given that his WWE-sponsored 1-man show happens in tandem with a lot of the most recent PPVs, it seems like he barely left at all.
AJ Mendez and CM Punk
Punk is still signed to AEW as of this writing, but he’s not as well-known as John Cena was in his peak, so it’s hard to predict what the future holds for him with AEW or any other organization. You can never write him off or count him out because he is just plain punk.
However, AJ Mendez (previously AJ Lee) has began serving as a color commentator for the recently formed WOW-WOMEN of Wrestling, which, given enough time, might very well become a significant promotion (or at the very least a Netflix series).
It appears that the romance between these two insane adolescents was a match made in kayfabe heaven. According to The Sportster, Lee, as she was then called, had a planned relationship with Brian Danielson, or Daniel Bryan as he was then known, that ended badly.
She then found herself in a triangle with Bryan and his opponent Punk in the ring. The plot eventually ran its course, as all stories do, but the couple (without Bryan) began dating seriously the next year and was married in 2025.
Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins
Even though Matt Riddle taunted Seth Rollins by saying, “There’s only one man in your marriage, and that’s Becky”—and yes, even though Rollins acknowledged (via SportsKeeda) that he found it difficult to deal with his wife being the first (and, thus far, only, member of the family to headline WrestleMania—
The Lass Kicker and her mister might be among the list of couples that are most evenly matched. Both are big talents that wrestle for the same promotion and appear to be well-established in the WWE Universe.
According to The U.S. Sun, Lynch and Rollins were the stereotypical “just good friends” when they initially met in NXT in 2012, but they soon developed into something a little more. They eventually came clean about being in a relationship by 2019, the year they also got engaged.
But it was another two years until the real wedding. In addition to the minor issue of a global pandemic that somewhat derailed everyone’s preparations, they welcomed their daughter Roux into the world in December 2020.
However, according to People, the pair eventually walked down the aisle in June 2021. Though Lynch herself would return to the ring at SummerSlam, Rollins was back in the arena a few weeks later at Money in the Bank, so apparently the honeymoon was short.
Beth Phoenix and Edge
The Glamazon and Rated-R Superstar are among those famous pairs that appear almost too good together. They reportedly began dating in late 2010 after Phoenix’s divorce from Joey Knight was finalized, according to SportsKeeda.
After giving his first-ever wrestling retirement a year later, Edge was immediately inducted into the Hall of Fame and thanked his girlfriend in his acceptance speech. The couple would welcome their first mini-glamazon within two years, and their second within three.
When daughter #2 was born, Beth and Edge put their plans on hold for a while before saying “I do,” maybe to commemorate Edge turning forty on the same day (October 30, 2016).
Beth Phoenix never completely left the arena, as she participated in a Fatal 4-Way Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 35 and later provided commentary for NXT from 2019 to 2021, even though she was inducted into the Hall of Fame herself in 2017.
Following Edge’s 2020 comeback, the two sides of this explosive partnership would team up again at the Royal Rumble in 2022, facing off against Maryse and the Miz in a mixed tag match dubbed “Grit Couple vs. It Couple.”

According to Fight Fans, Belair has been enjoying her role as stepmother to Ford’s children from a previous marriage. However, she has stated that when they grow their family, she and Ford will take a year off together to spend quality time with the new baby before returning to their family’s business of kicking butts and taking belts.
Booker T and Sharmelle
Even though he is almost 60 years old, Booker T is still active in the ring. Even though he primarily works as a commentator for WWE these days, he has competed as recently as the summer of 2022 and has stated that he is not even close to organizing his own final match.
Despite being five years younger than her husband, his wife Sharmell is also connected with Reality of Wrestling, but she has long since resigned from playing such an active part. She has also been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, joining Undertaker and Vader as of 2022.
The Sportster claims that Sharmell was formerly a dancer and beauty queen who began her professional wrestling career as a WCW Nitro Girl. She finally found work as a backstage interviewer with WWE after that promotion failed, although she was removed from the roster in 2002.
She returned to WWE in 2005, this time as Booker T’s valet; the two would be married that year. She ruled alongside Booker T as Queen Sharmell when he won King of the Ring in 2006, and the following year, she departed with him to TNA. The couple’s jobs in wrestling have changed significantly over the years, but they are still working in the industry that they both love. Their professions seem to be going strong, as does their marriage.
Brandi and Cody Rhodes
Both Brandi and Cody Rhodes were signed to WWE when they first met in 2011 (US Magazine claims they bonded over a common love of horror), and they remained employees of the organization when they got married in 2013.
However, they didn’t truly establish themselves as a “power duo” until they parted ways with the business, went on tour across Japan and the Caribbean, and joined AEW as the first couple in 2019. The birth of their first child in 2021 was extensively captured on camera for their reality show, “Rhodes to the Top.” Sadly, Brandi’s appearance on “WAGS Atlanta”—a show unrelated to dogs—was not her first foray into the world of reality television.
At the time of writing, Cody had only had one cup of coffee in the WWE before suffering another injury, while Brandi, who has made it clear that she wants to return to the ring, is still unsigned.
Brie Bella and Bryan Danielson
Bryan Danielson and Brie Bella are one of the strangest partnerships in wrestling. His reputation as one of the greatest technical wrestlers in history is well-established, and she is well-known for her “twin magic” and her role as co-star on the reality show “Total Bellas” alongside her sister Nikki.
Nevertheless, the adage “opposites attract” is true. Although it appeared at one point that both sisters would win the “prize” as they kayfabe-battled over Danielson (or Bryan, as he was known at the time), with Michael Cole growling in the background,
The Sportster informs us that the Danielson/Bella match was another WWE romance scripted into being. When the twins eventually discovered Danielson making out with Gail Kim, they ended their relationship, but by then (the entire drama occurred around 2010) Brie and Danielson were serious about one another.
In 2016, the year Danielson took his first retirement, the couple—who had been married since 2014—welcomed their first child. According to People, the second and third children would be born five years apart. (I guess the saying that twins run in families is accurate.)
Brie would eventually follow her husband’s lead and go vegan. But all the way to AEW is where she won’t follow him. Although Danielson joined the organization in 2021, the Bella twins made an appearance at the WWE Royal Rumble in 2022.
Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano
For someone who is only in his mid-30s, Johnny Gargano, the former NXT star who is currently appearing on “Raw,” has had a very long career. He is approaching his second decade in the industry, having gone pro at the age of sixteen, as he previously told AZ Central.
Even though she too began her profession at the young age of 17, his wife Candice LeRae is two years older. They were both still in the indies when they first met, and their mutual love of mainstream geekery like the Spider-Man and Star Wars movies helped them get along.
It appears that the couple is now sharing a few more things together. LeRae departed NXT in May 2022 following a prolonged period of inactivity, while Gargano left in December 2021. This implies that they had some quality time together playing with Baby Wrestling, who was born in February, at home.
