Ingredients :

  •  4 pork chops boneless, about ½ inch thick
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil for frying

To Serve :

  • lemon wedges
  • fresh parsley

Instructions :

To make the pork chops about ¼ inch thick, pound them with a meat mallet or the bottom of a large pan. On both sides of each pork chop, sprinkle salt and pepper.
Set up a place to dredge: Put the flour in a small dish. Beat the eggs in a second bowl. Put the breadcrumbs in a third dish.
First, coat each pork chop in flour and shake off any extra. Next, dip each chop in the beaten eggs and then press it into the breadcrumbs. Make sure that breadcrumbs cover every pork chop completely.
In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
When the oil is hot, add the pork chops, if you need to, in batches so the pan doesn’t get too crowded. For about three to four minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Place the pork schnitzel on a plate lined with paper towels to drain off any extra oil.
Serve the pork schnitzel with lemon wedges on the side so that you can squeeze them over the top. For decoration, add some fresh parsley on top.

tips & notes :

For the best results, use pork chops without bones.

For a perfectly crispy outside, make sure the oil is hot before you fry.

You can change how much salt and pepper you use. Season everything before you dredge it.

Serve hot for the best taste and feel.

If you don’t have a meat mallet, the bottom of a heavy pan works wonders!
