How Each Character’s Story Ends In The Lord Of The Rings Books:- Despite the fact that the Lord of the Rings movies bring the most of the character arcs to satisfying conclusions, the endings of their storylines are more detailed in the novels. Following the destruction of Sauron, the most of the principal protagonists went on to have lives that were (supposedly) peaceful.

There were a few of them who departed Middle Earth from the Grey Havens, while others rebuilt and ruled their kingdoms, and a few of them even had children. Both the novel Return of the King and the film adaptation of it highlight the fact that the Hobbits, at least, are unsure of how to return to life in the Shire. A world free of war is the finest thing that any of them could aspire for.
1. Galadriel
During one of the concluding sequences of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Galadriel and Celeborn, her husband, are among the characters who depart from Middle Earth. The possibility exists that they have reconnected with their daughter, CelebrÃan. Galadriel is seen attending the wedding of Aragorn and Arwen before she departs, and it is possible that she is the one who is responsible for Gimli being allowed to enter the Undying Lands.
Galadriel would be fulfilling this destiny if the events depicted in The Rings of Power are correct. She would have made the decision to remain in Middle Earth thousands of years before. Following the fall of Sauron, Galadriel, along with a great number of other characters, is now free.

2. Elrond
Elrond, along with the rest of his family, has been serving Middle Earth for thousands of years. He is one of the oldest characters in the Lord of the Rings series. CelebrÃan, Elrond’s wife, was taken captive by Orcs and liberated; but, due to the trauma she experienced as a result of this experience, she made the decision to depart for the Undying Lands at that time.
Throughout the conflict, Elrond dispatched his identical twin sons, Elladan and Elrohir, to Rohan. Following the conclusion of the conflict, the twins went back to Rivendell; it is unknown whether or not they remained in Middle Earth. Elrond left Middle Earth after the wedding of his daughter, and it is possible that he was reunited with his wife during this time.
3. Saruman
Saruman was assigned to Middle Earth to battle Sauron, just like Gandalf, but he was corrupted by him. Saruman is imprisoned in Isengard after the Ents invade there, and he must persuade the Ents to release him. Now that he lacks the ability to battle Gandalf, Saruman chooses to exact revenge on the Hobbits.
With the aid of Grima Wormtongue and Lotho Sackville-Bagginses, Saruman invades the Shire and seizes power. Saruman is banished by Frodo following the Battle of the Bywater to regain the Shire, but Grima turns against him and slashes his throat.
4. Éowyn
It is rather contentious to say that after murdering the Witch-King, Éowyn gives up her life as a warrior and lives a calm life with Faramir and their kid. Faramir talks to her about her ambition for fame, which, as the younger brother he looks up to, he may have also had.
Following Théoden’s burial and Éomer’s coronation as King of Rohan, they are married. When they part ways, Éowyn gives Merry the Horn of Rohan and names him a Knight of the Riddermark. Barahir, the author of The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen, is one of Éowyn’s ancestors. Her death date remains a mystery.
5. Faramir
While they are both healing from their wounds during the final fight, Faramir meets Éowyn and falls in love with her. For a short while, Faramir serves as Gondor’s steward, mostly in order to get everything ready for Aragorn’s homecoming. But after Aragorn ascends to the throne, he declares that Faramir and his lineage will continue to serve as Gondor’s stewards.
Faramir is also made Prince of Ithilien by Aragorn, which is one of Gondor’s domains. After getting married, Faramir and Éowyn go to Emyn Arnen, where they raise at least one son named Elboron. Prior to his passing at the age of 120, Faramir serves as one of Aragorn’s principal advisors and commanders.
