Dragon Ball Super Proves Gohan’s Strongest Form: Chapter 101 of Dragon Ball Super goes beyond what’s in the movie to wrap up the Super Hero arc. With one flashy scene, this new chapter shows for sure that Gohan’s newest form, Gohan Beast, is here to stay. From here on out, the question is how Gohan will use his new power and what part it might play in future story lines.

Dragon Ball Super Proves Gohan’s Strongest Form

Akira Toriyama wrote Dragon Ball Super Chapter 101, which was drawn by Toyotaro. The chapter starts with Carmine of the Red Ribbon Army trying to figure out how to get rid of the Z-fighters because the Red Ribbon Army can’t be brought back to life as long as they’re around. By accident, he sees Goten and Trunks while they are dressed as Saiyaman X-1 and X-2.

He then gets them to help him kill a big “villain,” who turns out to be Gohan, Goten’s brother. Gohan is very angry to see the Red Ribbon Army again because he just finished fighting Cell Max a few days ago. He changes into the Gohan Beast state right away and is ready to fight for his daughter’s safety again.

Gohan Beast May Be the Key to Defeating Black Frieza

At first, the fact that Gohan can change back into this state might not seem very important, but remember that even after Goku found Ultra Instinct in the Tournament of Power, he still couldn’t use it on command; it took him a lot of extra training and tweaking the technique to fit the way he fights, which is based on his emotions. This scene makes it clear that Gohan will be able to change into the Gohan Beast form whenever he wants. This will allow him to fight new enemies like Black Frieza.

When Gohan changes into a different form and travels to Earth, the chapter ends, Goku can feel the huge amount of power coming off of him. It’s not exactly clear how Gohan Beast stacks up against Super Saiyan Blue or Ultra Instinct/Ego yet, but the sheer amount of power shown makes it look like it’s on par. We might get a better answer to that question in the next few chapters when Goku and Gohan fight. Goku will surely be unable to avoid testing his son’s new power.

Black Frieza was already a tough opponent for Goku and Vegeta, even when they were in their Ultra states. Having Gohan help fight him could be a key part of the next story arc, making sure that Gohan’s new power isn’t wasted. This kind of team-up could also include Piccolo, who now has the new Orange Piccolo form, and Broly, who finally seems to be controlling his wild anger. It would be really cool if Gohan Beast joined Broly, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Goku in their fight against Black Frieza. This would bring Dragon Ball Super back to its former glory.
