Pork Loin
- 1 boneless (3 pounds) pork loin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
The Honey Garlic Sauce
Combine the honey, mustard, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chicken broth, minced garlic, lemon juice, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a small bowl. Put aside.
Pork Loin
Using paper towels, pat dry the pork loin. Apply equal amounts of salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to the pork loin’s entire surface.
Add oil to a medium oven-safe skillet and heat it to medium-high. When heated, sear the seasoned pork loin until a golden crust forms on all sides. When attempting to turn the pork, wait for it to naturally produce a crust to avoid sticking. When a perfect sear forms, the pork will come away from the skillet.
Cover the seared pork loin with the honey garlic sauce.
Place the skillet in the oven, baste the pork with the sauce every 15 minutes, and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Cook the pork until its internal temperature reaches 145°F.
After taking the pork loin out of the oven, give it a 15 to 20 minute rest. The redistributing of the liquids throughout this resting period keeps the pig juicy and tasty.
As you slice the pork, drizzle a little more of the pan’s sauce over each piece. Warm up and serve.

Can Pork Tenderloin Be Used to Make This?
Yes, this recipe works well with a pork tenderloin. But remember that pork tenderloin is far more tender and much smaller than pork loin. Therefore, in order to avoid overcooking, you will need to modify the cooking time. When the pork tenderloin reaches an internal temperature of 145°F, it is done.
How To Store Honey Garlic Pork Loin
Allow the honey garlic pork loin to come down to room temperature before storing. Then, cut it into pieces if you haven’t already. For up to three to four days, keep it refrigerated in airtight containers. In order to prevent the pork from becoming tooggy, try to keep the excess sauce refrigerated and stored separately. Use the oven or microwave to reheat the pork. Reheat the sauce as well, if you refrigerated it separately, and pour it over the pork once it has warmed up.
