The Best Cheeseburger Sliders Recipe – Step by Step Guide: The baked cheeseburger sliders are full of cheese, onion that has been sautéed, sesame butter, and a juicy ground beef patty. These are great recipes for the Super Bowl to feed a lot of people.

 

The Best Cheeseburger Sliders Recipe – Step by Step Guide

Ingredients

For the Cheeseburgers

  • 2 pounds of lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ white onion diced
  • 12 slider-sized Hawaiian rolls (1 package)
  • 12 (¾-ounce) cheese snack bars of any flavor — I used Borden
For the Glaze (Optional)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted (½ stick)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon sesame seeds

Instruction 

Warm the oven up to 350°F. In a bowl, mix the beef and spices. 2 pounds of lean ground beef, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, 2 teaspoons of ground black pepper

Set the beef in a 9×13-inch baking dish and press it down so that it is flat and even. Set the oven to 200°F. Take out the liquid and set it aside.

 

While the pan is on medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Put in the diced onion and mix it in well. Cook until the onion is clear and smells good. Fully drain the extra oil and set it aside.

Place the cooked beef on the bottom half of the rolls. Then add the onions and cheese slices in a single layer. Put the top half of the rolls on top.

1 cup of unsalted butter, 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 1/3 cup of sesame seeds

Spread a lot of melted butter on top of the rolls (or pour it on top) and then sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

 

Add 20 minutes more of baking time, or until the cheese melts and the bread is well-browned. Cut each one into a slider and serve hot. Have fun!

 

How to Freeze

These baked sliders can be frozen for up to three months if they are each wrapped in two layers of plastic wrap and one layer of aluminum foil. Let it thaw in the fridge overnight before heating it.

 

How to Store and Reheat

For up to 4 days, you can keep extra cheeseburger sliders in a container that won’t let air in or tightly wrapped in aluminum foil. Warm it up again in an oven set to 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it’s fully warm.
