WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS RECIPE

1 . Simple to make and ready in 5 minutes

  • This makes it the ideal sweet to prepare if you are looking for something that can be prepared quickly and easily.

2 . Single-serving

  • Therefore, it is ideal for people who are living by themselves!

3 . Moist, fluffy yet hearty

  • Without being excessively heavy, this eggless cup cake is opulent and sweet without being unduly sugary.
  • In addition to this, it is loaded with fiber and carbohydrates that digest slowly, which makes it an exceptionally filling and gratifying food to consume.

4 . Allergen-friendly

  • This dish is naturally vegan and gluten-free, as it does not contain any eggs or dairy products in its preparation.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

1 . Banana

  • First, check to see that your banana is brown and has spots on it. You are going to want it to be ripe and sweet because it is going to be the primary sweetener in this dish.

2 . Oat flour

  • In the event that you do not have any on hand, you can make your own by mixing some oats until they become flour or a similar consistency.

3 . Maple syrup

  • Honey or agave syrup are two examples of another liquid sweetener that can be used in its stead.

4 . Gluten-free

  • If you have a sensitivity to gluten, you should make sure to use oats and oat flour that have been confirmed as being gluten-free.

 VARIATIONS/ADD-INS

1 . Chopped nuts

  • As an alternative to chocolate chips, you might substitute a tablespoon or so of chopped nuts for the chocolate chips. There are many wonderful additives, including peanuts, walnuts, and pecans.

2 . Raisins

  • In my opinion, there is nothing that can compare to the classic combination of oats and raisins and any other combination. You have the option of choosing to use raisins in place of chocolate chips, or you may use a combination of the two.

3 . Spices and flavorings

  • Even though I am only using ground cinnamon in this recipe, you are free to add any spices and flavorings that you think would be delicious! Add-ins such as nutmeg, pumpkin spice, and vanilla essence are considered to be outstanding .
  • Just keep in mind that a little goes a long way, and that a very small pinch or a few drops ought to be sufficient!

4 . Cocoa powder

  • This recipe can be transformed into a banana chocolate mug cake by adding between ½ and 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder.

HOW TO MAKE :

Prepare a mug or ramekin by lightly greasing it with cooking spray or regular oil.

In your cup, mash the banana until it is completely smooth. Then, incorporate the maple syrup by stirring it in well.

In the mug, combine the following ingredients: oat flour, oats, chocolate chips, baking powder, and ground cinnamon. Stir everything together until it is thoroughly incorporated, making sure that you pay attention to the bottoms as well.

With the intention of ensuring that everything is thoroughly combined, I decided to make my cake batter in a different, larger bowl, as can be seen in the process photographs. You are not need to do so at all!

Cook the cake in the microwave for sixty to ninety seconds, or until it appears set and is firm to the touch.

Before you start enjoying it, give it a few minutes to sit and cool off.
