Flank Steak Quesadillas with Gorgonzola Recipe

Ingredients:

To make these steak quesadillas, you’ll need the following :

  • Juice of lime
  • Bok Choy
  • Ground chili
  • Flank steak with cumin salt
  • Carrot Onion
  • Salt, pepper, and jalapeño pepper
  • Tacos made of flour
  • Goat cheese Gorgonzola
  • Avocado to put on top

Instructions :

Put the flank steak in a big zipper bag and add lime juice, two tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, and half a teaspoon of salt. In the bag, place the flank steak.

Before placing the dish in the refrigerator for at least two hours to marinate, check that the marinade has been dispersed evenly.

The flank steak was placed on the grill pan or huge cast iron pan after it had been heated to an exceptionally high temperature. Each side should be grilled for three minutes.

In order to achieve grill marks that resemble crisscrosses, it is essential to rotate the steak after 1.5 minutes on each side.

After removing the steak to the cutting board, let it to slightly cool. The flank steak should be sliced into strips, and the cuts should be made against the grain.

Once the steak has cooled, bring the pan to a medium heat and add one tablespoon of olive oil. Approximately five minutes after adding onions, the remaining half teaspoon of salt, and half a teaspoon of pepper, continue to simmer the mixture.

Include sliced jalapeño and continue cooking for an additional 6-8 minutes, until the onions have begun to brown.

Remove any residue from the pan. Use the remaining olive oil to lightly coat one side of each tortilla, and then set the tortillas with the oil-coated side down on the pan over medium heat.

Gorgonzola cheese should be sprinkled on top, and then steak, onions, and jalapeño should be added on top, along with a little bit more cheese.

Take another tortilla and place it on top of the first one. Cook it for approximately one minute, then flip it and continue cooking it for another two minutes.

Please make careful to rotate the tortillas halfway through the cooking process if you want grill marks that are crisscrossed.

Proceed with the remaining tortillas and put the filling on them.
Quesadillas should be divided into four equal pieces using a pizza cutter, and they should be served with mashed or sliced avocado.
