Banana Fritter Recipe Know the Secret Tips
These banana fritters will fulfill your desires when you’re in the need for something soothing and sweet. Perfect as a sweet ending, these are really simple and taste best when served hot and golden. They are so simple that, crazy as it may seem, I occasionally just eyeball the ingredients instead of measuring them all.
Ingredients
- 4 medium bananas
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
Mash the bananas in a big dish. Add milk and stir until smooth.
Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a another basin. Stir the dry ingredients into the combination of bananas. All I did was use a wooden spoon.
In a deep fryer or heavy-based pan, heat approximately one inch of oil to 350°F (177°C).
Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry, flipping once, for approximately five minutes, or until golden. A tiny ice cream scoop can also be used to facilitate dropping the batter into the oil.
After draining, dab with confectioners’ sugar.

Notes
If the oil isn’t hot enough—350°F/177°C—the fritters will absorb too much of it.
If it’s easier for you, you can spoon the batter into the oil using a small cookie scoop.
You might have to share these fritters since this recipe makes about 12 to 15.
Make sure to make this meal fresh because it can only be frozen before being fried. When stored in an airtight container, the batter can last up to two weeks.

FAQs
Can I Bake Them?
Indeed! Pour the batter into a small muffin tin that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray before baking. Next, bake the fritters for 12 to 14 minutes at 350°F (177°C), or until the tops are golden brown. However, bear in mind that they will still taste great even though they resemble muffins more.
What’s The Difference Between A Fritter And A Donut?
These two deep-fried treats aren’t quite the same, despite their similarities. A donut is just a slice of dough that has been deep-dried and is either served plain or filled with jam or custard. On the other hand, a fritter is a dish made of battered food—in this case, bananas—that is deep-fried. Unlike donuts, fritters aren’t filled after cooking.
