Do you need a quick and very nutrient-dense afternoon snack or side dish? Try this crunchy, fresh salad made with broccoli, shredded carrots, and apple pieces.

It goes without saying that this salad will be loaded with nutrients since the main dish is such a nutritious powerhouse. You can obtain a substantial amount of thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (B2), B6, folate (B9), copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, and potassium in just one meal.

iIf you’re not a fan of cranberries, or if you can’t locate a good brand without added sugar, you may always use raisins in their place. Additionally, try toasting the walnuts for four to five minutes in the oven before adding them for an even stronger taste.

Even with only the raw nuts, the salad tastes great if you don’t have time for that. Mix it up to resist the need to munch in the middle of the afternoon, or save some in the refrigerator for quick access to greens whenever you need them.
